1)The colour of the powder will be Brown in colour and not be pink in colour

2)The powder has a sweet and pleasant Sandal aroma. There won’t be any sharp sandal fragrance.

3)Look for certifications from authorized organisations.

4)Burn test: Take some sandalwood powder and burn it like we would burn Dhoops. It should emit sweet sandal fragrance till the very end. Fake powders will emit a sandal fragrance initially but will emit a burning smoke eventually.

5)The powder should have a cooling sensation on face upon application.

1)Take a tsp of the Sandalwood powder and use it as a face pack by mixing with milk. 

2)Mix the sandalwood powder with our Damask rose water and use it as a spot treatment on boils and acne.

3)Can be used as Dhoop or incense.
